    We are investigating an issue with Hyper-V 1st Gen instances that crash when iPXE is initialising for a network installation.

    Our engineers have already identified the issue and are currently working on a solution.
    Customers who urgently need an installation should contact the support team for further advice.

    We have now deployed the patches for iPXE and can confirm that network installations on Hyper-V Gen 1 instances are working again.

    A fix is currently being evaluated internally. Due to the risks associated with "Friday afternoon deployments," we will postpone the rollout until Monday, as the fix could interfere with the RNG implementation [1] on other platforms.
